Super-anti-heroes profile

Julia Metzger-Traber is a US American performance artist with Jewish and German roots, and a compulsion to interrogate power from all angles. She has studied and performed modalities as diverse as clown, hip-hop, Grotowski, improv comedy, West African dance and ballet. Her degree is in social, political theory, however she found she prefers exploring ideas through bodies and space rather than words and pages.

Fenia  is Greek dance artist, performer,  photographer , video maker and currently MA/MFA:Choreographing Live art student in the Lincoln University (UK). Her artistic research is based on site-inspired creations, instant composition and improvisation. She explores different fields like photography, video, body theories, different somatic practices and she uses them as a tool and source
during the creative process. Her inspiration emerges from her imagination as well from each small event of the daily life. The body as gathering place of emotions and memories, subconscious imaginary and passion are  some of the pivotal elements of her work.
